WHERE IS ALLAH ?

My Answer : Unless you've decide not to "see" Him , you cannot "miss" Him

SURAH ASH-SHURA (42:11)

He is the Creator of the Earth and The Heavens . He has madefor you from yourselves, mates and among the cattle ,mates , He even multiplies you thereby. There is nothing like unto Him . He is The Hearing , The Seeing .

We cannot see Allah The Most Exalted just the way we see other things . 

What do we tell those who want to know His address ?

If they want a solid answer , then they must've ask a good question .

THE QUESTION ITSELF IS WRONG !

You can ask the whereabouts of a person or an object that exists in time and space.

For example , you live in time (today) and you have a body that fills some space.

Allah is The Creator of time and space.

The Creator cannot be the same nature as the things He created

Allah does not ' resemble ' His Creations because He is beyond the grasp of human imagination.

If He is of the same nature as His Creations then He too , like His Creations , would be need of a Creator to statisfy His needs . 

A creator who is not self-sufficient cannot be The Creator in Arabic  its called Al - Khaliq 

Allah has knowledge of everything . Nothing outside of His vision . 

THE NOBLE QURAN 

What does The Noble Quran say about the whereabouts of Allah ?

Surah Taha (20:5)

الرَّحْمَنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَى

He is firmly established on The Throne of authority .

Surah AlBaqarah (2:115)

وَلِلّهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّواْ فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

To Allah belongs the East and The West .Whichever direciton you turn , there is the presence of Allah . For Allah is all-embracing and all-knowing .

Surah Al-Qaaf ( 50:16)

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ

It was We Who Created man . and We know what dark suggestions and his soul makes to him for. We are nearer to him than his jugular vein .

Surah Al Hadid (57:4)

هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاء وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

He it is The Creator of Heavens and T he Earth in Six Day ( six period of time) and is moreover firmly established  on The Throne of Authority . He know what enters within the Earth and what come forth out of it , what comes down from Heavens and whats mount up to it , He is with you wheresoever you may be and Allah is aware of all your actions.

Surah AlBaqarah (2:186)

وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ

When My Servants ask you(Muhammad) about Me , tell them I am near . I respond to the call of one when he prays to Me , and they should respond to Me and have a faith in Me so that they may be on the right path.

Okay , the purpose of these verses is not to give us a description of Allah's whereabouts .

The hidden meaning of these verses are only known only to Allah . 

it stated in Surah Al Imran (3:7)

هُوَ الَّذِيَ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ في قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاء الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاء تَأْوِيلِهِ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلاَّ اللّهُ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ رَبِّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلاَّ أُوْلُواْ الألْبَابِ

He is the One who has revealed to you the Book (the Qur‘an). Out of it there are verses that are MuHkamat (of established meaning), which are the principal verses of the Book, and some others are Mutashabihat (whose definite meanings are unknown). Now those who have perversity in their hearts go after such part of it as is mutashabih, seeking (to create) discord, and searching for its interpretation (that meets their desires), while no one knows its interpretation except Allah; and those well-grounded in knowledge say: .We believe therein; all is from our Lord.. Only the men of understanding observe the advice.

In their contexts , these verses conveys the gandeur and magnificence of Allah 

The Quran states that Allah is unique and that nothing resembles Him . You can check in The Quran or click on the numbers  ( 42:11 and 112:4)

Those knowledge will know Allah by reflecting on the things created by Him . You can check it out in Quran or click on the numbers ( 30:20-25)

All things in the Universe are signs that point to the existence of a Perfect , All-Knowing and Merciful Creator .
